This one is for talking, not only for writing. You say your answer and then listen to your friends’ answers.
How to take part in the discussion:
- Say what you like doing, in one sentence.
- Say when you do it — after school, on Sunday, in the holidays.
- Say why you like it.
- Then listen quietly while the next child speaks.
Free time can be spent in many ways — playing a game, reading a story book, drawing, singing, helping at home, gardening, cycling, or playing with a pet.
Sample answer: In my free time I like drawing with colour pencils. I draw for about half an hour after school. I like it because I can make anything I imagine. On Sundays I also play cricket with my cousins in the park.
How this joins the poem: The poem says, “Play while you play.” Free time is your play time. Enjoy it fully, without thinking about your work — just as you should work fully without thinking about play.
