Yes — every living being is joined to others by food and by shelter. The game makes those joins visible as threads of yarn.

How to play:

Each player gets a card with the name of a plant, animal, or natural element.
One player starts by holding a ball of yarn and thinks about their connection to another player.
For example, a tree provides food for a bird or a river supports a fish. The yarn is passed to that player while the first player still holds on to its thread.
The web keeps growing as more connections are made.
Now remove one player, like a missing deer for a tiger, or plants for animals.
Watch how the web weakens or collapses.

The joins you will make in the game. The book prints sixteen cards on page 53 — the Sun, grass, a tree, fallen leaves, a pond, seeds, fruits, an elephant, a deer, a lion, a sparrow, a kingfisher, a vulture, a beetle, an ant and a snake.

Every player who was joined to them feels the thread go loose.
