This is an exclamatory sentence. It shows amazement and praise.
Read it aloud the way you would really say it — with your voice going up and stopping short. That is what the exclamation mark (!) is telling you to do.
- The feeling: amazement or wonder. You say this when someone has made something clever that you did not expect.
- The clue: the exclamation mark at the end.
- A short form hiding inside: That’s = That is. You learnt this in part A.
Someone might say exactly this on seeing a water tank shaped like a rooster: That’s so creative!
