One picture is different from the rest. The picture in the top middle is the sea. Sea water is salty. So it is not a source of freshwater. All the other seven are.
Why these are freshwater sources: Ponds, lakes and rivers hold water on the surface of the land. Glaciers and ice caps hold freshwater in solid form, as ice. Rain brings freshwater down from the clouds. Wells bring up groundwater. And groundwater itself is rain that soaked into the soil and got stored below.
Sort them into three groups: water on the land — pond, lake, river; water under the land — groundwater, well; water from the sky and in frozen form — rain, glacier.
