Do the images seen in the camera show the colours of the objects on the other side? Are the images erect or upside down?
Answer
Yes, the images show the natural colours of the objects — green leaves look green, a red building looks red. And the images are upside down (inverted), not erect.

Why it happens: The pinhole does not change the light in any way, it merely lets a narrow bundle through — so every colour reaching the hole is carried straight on to the tracing paper. The inversion comes from the crossing of the straight rays at the hole, exactly as in Activity 11.9.
Try This: Slide the smaller box in and out. Pulling it out (screen farther from the pinhole) makes the image bigger but dimmer. This is why the sliding box is used at all.
