Connect it to the previous piece: the ‘Let us explore' passage after the poem described magnifiers and telescopes for children with low vision. Speech recognition and text-to-speech do the same job by a different route — where a lens enlarges the image, these convert one sense into another, so that a person who cannot read print can hear it and a person who cannot type can speak. Both are technologies that widen access rather than create ability.
The podcast's own closing caution is worth quoting: “AI is a powerful force for good but we need to use it responsibly.” The host makes the claim and its limit in a single sentence — a good habit in any argument.
