Beautiful means very pleasing to look at. Its opposite is ugly, which means not nice to look at.
Why not the other two:
Attractive means almost the same as beautiful, not the opposite.
Broken tells us the bells are in pieces. That is about their condition, not about how they look. A broken bell can still be beautiful.

A reward is something good you are given for doing something right. A punishment is something unpleasant you are given for doing something wrong. They are opposites.
Why not the other two:
Prize means almost the same as reward — something good you win.
Offer means something put forward for you to take. That is not the opposite of a reward.
Careful — this sentence does not match the story: In the story on page 13 the fruit seller did not give Chinna ten rupees as a reward. It was Chinna who gave the extra ten rupees back to the fruit seller. The seller only praised him with words: “You are an honest boy.” Here the book has made up a new sentence just to practise the word reward, so answer the vocabulary question, but remember what the story really says.

To buy is to give money and take a thing. To sell is to give the thing and take the money. They are the two sides of the same act, so they are opposites.
Why not the other two:
Purchase is just another word for buy — the same meaning, not the opposite.
Order means to ask for something to be sent or brought. It is close to buying, not opposite to it.
See it in the story: Chinna buys the bells. Chacha sells them. Both things happen at the same moment.

Murmured means spoke in a low, soft voice — very close to whispering.
Talked is just speaking in a normal voice. It is in between whispering and shouting, so it is not the opposite.
Why Chinna whispered: He knew the idea was not a good one. People whisper when they do not want others to hear. The word whispered is the writer’s way of telling us that Chinna already felt a little guilty.
