Choose any four positive qualities that you would like your friend to have. Give a reason for your choice. Pick four qualities, and for each one give a reason from real life. Use a different sentence-opener from the four hints each time, so that your speech does not sound repetitive.

Sample answer: I feel my friend should be honest because a friend who hides the truth is of no use to me. I think the quality I want in my friend is being caring. The reason for this is that a caring friend notices my mood without being told. I believe my friend should be loyal.
