The unit has three texts. A Friend's Prayer by Jill Wolf is a short poem in which the speaker prays that she may always value her friends, do her best for them, and love them exactly as they are. The Chair is a story about Mario, who boasts about his many friends until his grandfather's “invisible chair” shows him that only three of them — Guneet, Asma and Deepa — really care.
