Which part of the plant helps in the exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen?

The leaves — more exactly, the tiny pores on their surface called stomata.
Carbon dioxide from the air enters the leaf through the stomata, and the oxygen produced during photosynthesis leaves through them. During respiration the flow is the other way round: oxygen in, carbon dioxide out. Activity 10.6 lets you see these pores under a microscope.
