The kind old stag. In a lush forest lived an old stag known for his kindness. Each day he warmly greeted his fellow animals and birds. He lived on a small hillock covered with soft, tender grass, and came down every day to meet his friends. The stag falls ill. One day he fell ill and struggled to reach the hillock. He knew that fresh, healthy food and proper rest would make him well, so he ate the tender grass and rested. He could not come down to greet his friends. The friends visit.
