Name one instrument and say why you like it. If you have never played one, say which one you would like to learn.
The poem names two instruments — the guitar and the sitar. You may pick one of these, or any other you know: tabla, dholak, flute, harmonium, keyboard, drum, veena, manjira or the santoor, after which your book is named.
What a good answer has: the name, one line on how it is played, and one line on why you like it.
Sample answer: I like to play the tabla. You hit it with your fingers and palms to make different sounds. I like it because I can keep the rhythm for the whole class while they sing.
Did you know? Your English book is called Santoor. The santoor is a musical instrument too — it has many strings and is played by striking them gently.
