Step 1: Take a sheet of paper and fold it in half. Step 2: Open it and sprinkle some drops of water colours in the centre of the fold. Step 3: Press it to spread the colour evenly. Step 4: Look what you made!

Do the four steps exactly in this order.
Take a plain sheet. Fold it in half and press the fold well.
Open the sheet. Drop a few drops of water colour close to the fold line.
Fold the sheet again on the same fold and press it gently with your palm.
Open it. The colour has spread on both sides of the fold.
Sample answer: the ink design a child gets after Step 4.
Why it happens: The colour was still wet, so the top half printed its own picture on the bottom half.
Tip: Use only 4 or 5 drops. Too much colour makes one big blot.
