Draw the landform around you in the space given below. Name the area, the type of landform, some interesting features of the people, their professions, food, houses, plants and animals.

Draw the place where you live, then label it. Work in this order.

  1. Stand outside or look out of a window. Is the land flat, hilly, sandy, or beside water?
  2. Draw the big things first — the land line, then houses, trees, fields, a river or a road.
  3. Add the animals and birds you really see.
  4. Now write labels around your drawing for each of these seven things.

Your drawing is correct if every label truly matches your place. Do not copy Sikkim or Puri unless you live there.
