Q1.
Draw a map showing the route from your school to the public library or any such place near your school. Identify landmarks like parks, shops, hospitals, bus stops, etc. on the map.
Answer
Draw the roads first, then put the places on them.
Mark your school near one edge of the box. Draw it as a small square.
Draw the road that goes out of the school gate as a thick line.
Draw every turn the road takes on the way to the library.
Put the library at the end of the route.
Now add the landmarks you pass — a park, a shop, a hospital, a bus stop.
Draw a dotted line with an arrow along the route, from the school to the library.
Write the name next to every place you draw.
Sample answer — a route map from the school to the public library, with landmarks marked on the way.
Why a map helps: a map shows everything at one glance. A person who has never been there can still find the way.
Tip: keep the top of your paper as north, the way Navya did. Then anyone can use your map.
