Q1.
If you had to send money to someone, which method would you choose — using a phone, Money Order or some other mode? Why?
Answer
Both ways work. Which is better depends on who is receiving the money.
| Way of sending | Good because | Not so good because |
|---|---|---|
| Phone (online) | The money reaches in a few seconds, even at night. You need not go anywhere. | Both people need a bank account, a phone and the internet. |
| Money Order | The postman brings the cash to the person’s door. No phone or account is needed. | It takes several days, and you must go to the post office. |
Sample answer: I would send the money by phone. Mama ji sent money to my mother that way for Raksha Bandhan, and it reached in seconds. But if I had to send money to my great-grandmother in the village, I would use a Money Order. She has no smartphone, and the postman gives her the cash at home.
Give a reason like this: the best way is the one that suits the person who is receiving the money.
Safety tip: never share your PIN or a phone code with anyone, even on a call.
