The unit opens with a short passage, Hamara Bharat — Incredible India! , which describes Bharat as a land of wise and heroic people, of rich and diverse culture, and of rivers, lakes, high mountains and green forests. Kalakritiyon ka Bharat is set at an Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat programme, where four children speak on video about the craft of their state — Aipan (Uttarakhand), Dhokra (Odisha), coconut shell craft (Kerala) and Kondapalli toys (Andhra Pradesh).
